Journalist Mithu Murad has received the BMS Best Personality Award 2026 for his outstanding contribution to journalism.

The award was presented in recognition of his professionalism, courage and commitment to objective journalism, as well as his efforts to highlight various irregularities and social issues through his reporting.

The award was handed over to journalist Mithu Murad at a grand ceremony held at the Kachikanchha Auditorium in Segunbagicha, Dhaka, on Saturday (September 5) afternoon.
