As the year comes to a close, Apple fans eagerly anticipate new gadgets, and the company rarely disappoints. This time, Apple is reportedly planning a major change in chip production for its devices. The renowned chipmaker Intel may produce chips for Apple gadgets, including the iPhone, marking a significant move by Apple’s management.

Intel, known for its high-performance processors, could develop next-generation chips that deliver remarkable speed for iPhones. Moreover, the U.S.-based chipmaker might also manufacture chips for Apple’s Mac computers. Several recent reports from prominent technology analysts have highlighted this potential collaboration.

Noted analyst Ming-Chi Kuo stated that Intel could begin producing Apple’s M-series chips starting in 2027. Multiple reports confirm that Intel would manufacture chips not only for iPhones but also for other Apple devices, creating excitement around the innovation in chip design.

Apple product researchers say Intel plans to develop the M7 chip for the M-series, which could power new models of Macs and iPads. The release of devices featuring these new chips is expected relatively soon. Additionally, Intel may also produce A-series chips used in select iPhone models, ensuring the next generation of iPhones benefits from these advanced processors.

For many years, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) has been the primary supplier of Apple’s device chips. If Intel begins manufacturing chips for Apple, it could introduce greater diversity and enhanced performance across multiple devices, including iPhones, iPads, and Macs.
