Sikh organizations staged protests outside Indian embassies in five countries, holding Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi responsible for the killing of Hadi. The demonstrations were held simultaneously in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and Germany.

Protesters alleged that Hadi’s death was not an isolated incident but part of a broader pattern of suppressing dissent and eliminating political opponents beyond India’s borders. They claimed that the killing took place with the direct or indirect support of the current Indian government.

During the protests, Sikh leaders chanted slogans such as “Modi government must answer,” “We demand justice for Hadi’s killing,” and “Stop state-sponsored terrorism.” Many demonstrators carried placards and banners calling for an international investigation into the actions of the Indian government.

At the protest in front of the Indian embassy in Toronto, Canada, speakers said the international community must take a more active role in protecting freedom of expression and human rights. Similar sentiments were echoed at demonstrations in London and New York.

A Sikh leader in the United Kingdom said, “Hadi’s death is not just a murder; it is a symbol of state repression. We will continue our movement until justice is served.”

Meanwhile, the Indian government has not issued any official response to these allegations so far. However, diplomatic sources said security has been tightened in the concerned countries.

Analysts believe that the international protests over Hadi’s death have created fresh tensions on the global stage and could have implications for South Asia’s political situation and regional diplomatic relations.
